Experienced Dedication
Our longstanding commitment to child welfare means a child is in hands that have seen and nurtured a multitude of young lives to success.
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and understood. At Eagles Nest Children’s Homes, we create warm, structured and nurturing home environments where children are supported to develop, achieve and build positive foundations for their future.
We understand that every child comes to us with their own experiences, strengths, needs, wishes and aspirations. Our care is therefore individualised around the child, with support planned in partnership with them and the professionals involved in their lives. Families and other significant people are involved where appropriate and in accordance with each child’s care plan.
Our current Ofsted-registered home in Birstall, Leicester provides a small residential setting for children with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. The small-home approach enables our team to provide consistent, attentive care while creating the sense of stability, belonging and everyday family life that children need to flourish.
Our approach is built around creating safety, stability and positive relationships. We take time to understand each child’s individual circumstances and provide care that reflects their needs, abilities, wishes and goals.
We provide a welcoming, comfortable and structured home environment where children can feel secure, develop trusting relationships and experience consistent care.
Every child is unique. Care is planned around the child’s assessed needs, experiences, strengths and aspirations, with plans reviewed as their needs and circumstances develop.
We recognise the importance of education in every child’s development. We work alongside schools, social workers, placing authorities and other professionals to support attendance, learning, achievement and each child’s educational goals.
We help children develop safe, respectful and positive relationships with the people who matter to them. Where appropriate, we support contact with family, friends and significant others in accordance with each child’s care plan.
Children are encouraged to express their wishes, feelings and views about their care and everyday life within the home. Their voices are heard through Key Worker sessions, children’s meetings, care planning and everyday conversations.
Childhood should include opportunities to have fun, discover interests and experience achievement. We encourage children to enjoy activities, develop their talents, learn new skills and participate in their local community.
A children’s home should feel like a home.
At Eagles Nest, we want children to experience stability, belonging and the ordinary moments of everyday life alongside the structured support they need. This means sharing meals, celebrating achievements, taking part in activities, developing interests, contributing ideas about the home and being supported to make age-appropriate choices.
Our staff build consistent and respectful relationships with children, helping them recognise their strengths, manage challenges, develop practical skills and make progress towards the goals that matter to them.
Our current home is a small residential children’s home in Birstall, Leicester, providing a warm and supportive environment with individualised care.
The home is registered with Ofsted to provide care and accommodation for up to two children with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.

Our longstanding commitment to child welfare means a child is in hands that have seen and nurtured a multitude of young lives to success.
With a limited intake, we ensure every child receives individualised attention in a setting that feels more like a home than an institution.
Beyond just care, we prepare our children to be positive contributors to society, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the broader community.
Our Safe Crisis Management Program not only addresses challenges as they arise but equips young people with the tools to manage future hurdles.
Every interaction is based on our foundational values of respect, dignity, and trust, ensuring your child feels valued and understood.
We motivate and encourage good behaviour, fostering a sense of achievement and reinforcing positive actions through our unique reward scheme.
Keeping children safe is fundamental to everything we do.
We are committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, listened to and able to raise concerns. Our safeguarding arrangements include safer recruitment, staff training, individual risk assessment, clear reporting procedures and close partnership working with social workers, placing authorities and other safeguarding professionals.
Children are helped to understand how they can raise a concern or make a complaint, and access to independent advocacy is supported where required.
